Refund policy
At Misfit Souls, your child’s joy and safety are our top priority. We understand how important it is for toys to arrive in perfect condition — and we’re here to make it right if they don’t.
While we don’t accept returns for personal preference or accidental orders, we do offer a quick and fair resolution for genuine product issues.
📦 1. When Can You Request a Replacement or Refund?
We offer replacements or refunds if:
- The product is damaged, defective, or incorrect at the time of delivery
- A valid unboxing video is shared with us within 48 hours of receiving the product
We are unable to accept requests if:
- You changed your mind or placed the order by mistake
- The product is in good condition but doesn’t meet personal expectations
The issue is reported after 48 hours of delivery
In special cases, exceptions may be considered at the discretion of our team.
📸 2. Why an Unboxing Video is Required
This is a mandatory safety step to ensure transparency and fast issue resolution.
To be eligible:
- Record a clear video from the moment the outer packaging is opened
- The product and the issue (if any) should be clearly visible
- Email the video to connect@misfitsouls.in within 48 hours of delivery
📌 Claims without a valid unboxing video will not be processed.
🛠️ 3. How We Process Your Request
- Our Quality Team will review your email and video within 3–4 working days
- If the claim is approved, we’ll:
- Ship a replacement immediately, if the product is in stock
- Initiate a refund if the product is out of stock or unavailable
⏱️ 4. What Happens Next?
✅ Replacements:
- Pickup of the original item (if required) and verification takes 2–3 working days
- The replacement is dispatched within 1–2 days afterward
- Delivery usually takes 5–7 working days from dispatch
✅ Refunds:
- Refunds are initiated within 5–7 working days after warehouse confirmation
- Prepaid Orders: Refunded to the original payment method
- COD Orders: Refunded to a bank account (provided by email) or issued as a non-expiring store credit/gift voucher (customer’s choice)
🚚 5. Reverse Pickup Guidelines
- Reverse pickup is arranged within 24–72 hours after your return request is approved
- Pickup is done only from the original delivery address and registered phone number
- We allow one pickup attempt only — failed pickups due to address errors or unavailability will auto-close the case
- Please ensure the product is securely packed with all original parts, manuals, and packaging
🔍 6. Final Quality Check
After the item is returned:
- It goes through a quick inspection by our team
- If found used, tampered with, or missing any parts, the request will be rejected, and no refund/replacement will be issued
💸 7. Shipping & Handling Charges
- Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable
- A ₹49 handling fee applies to prepaid orders above ₹599 (to cover packaging & logistics)
- If any return shipping cost applies, it will be clearly communicated before pickup
❌ 8. Order Cancellations
- Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch
- To cancel, simply email or WhatsApp us your Order ID
- Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled
🎁 9. Gift Card Orders
- Items purchased using Gift Cards can only be exchanged, not refunded
- Gift Cards issued as refunds never expire and can be redeemed anytime on a future order
